Our Program Purpose

Rensselaer Central Schools Corporation Extended Care Program is for students currently enrolled in grades Age 4 Pre-School through Grade 5. This program is designed to provide quality child care for students before the school day begins and after school dismisses when families have a need for child care. 

Activities

Before School: 6:30 am through 8:00 am
     -Movement and Gym Time
     -Creative Craft Time
     -Movie Time

After School: 2:50 pm through 6:00 pm
     -Snack Time (provided by the school)
     -45 minutes of Homework Time (Monday - Thursday) 
           - This time also includes one-to-one tutoring and peer tutoring!
     -15 minutes of Silent Reading Time
     -Creative Craft Time
     -Movement and Gym Time
     -Playground Time
     -Movie Time
     -Computer Lab Time
     -Recycling Program (more details below)
